An Independent fire investigation and expert witness service for residential, commercial and industrial fires, and behavioural analysis. Over 16 years of fire service experience, Tier 1–2 investigations, and SFJ Level 5, with a specialist focus on human behaviour that contributes to fires.
It began over ten years ago as a "Free Your Mind Therapy" counselling service, supporting people with trauma, abuse, violence, stress and difficult life circumstances. Over time, the work expanded to include mentoring, coaching, behavioural analysis and violence risk assessment, helping individuals and organisations understand patterns of risk, escalation and safety.

Most recently, the service has expanded to include fire investigation, drawing on operational and fire investigation experience as an emergency responder, instructor, leader, and Fire Investigation Officer. This addition allows us to examine not only how fires start and develop, but also the human and organisational behaviours that surround them.

Today, the three pillars — counselling, human behaviour and fire investigation — can be delivered separately or in combination, depending on client needs. The underlying aim remains the same: to help people and organisations understand what happened, why it happened, and how to improve safety and reduce recurrence.

Prepared and delivered expert reports and testimony in criminal and civil proceedings.
Instructed firefighters and investigation officers in fire behaviour, tactical ventilation, and scene methodology.

Over 15 years in domestic advocacy, working alongside courts and providing risk assessment, safety planning, and court reports.
